Windward Software Training Videos

We have created hundreds of short training videos on very specific topics and arranged them into sections on our website. For instance, under the Point of Sale section, there is a video called "Adding Customers on the Fly."
When you first start with the system, you can sit down to watch the videos that apply to you. However, because you have Unlimited Access, the videos are still available to you on a daily basis. If you just have a simple question, it is easy to find the specific video to watch that pertains to that question.

However, you are not alone in this training process. You will be assigned a Windward Trainer as well. The majority of your training is done via telephone, where our computer connects to your computer over the internet, so both you and our trainer can see what is on your screen. At the same time our trainer will be talking with you on the telephone to guide you through the process. During these sessions, your Windward Trainer will assist you in deciding which videos are the most pertinent for you to watch.

The Windward Software Training Videos are a great way to train your new staff. Windward System Five is easy to learn -- but even easier when you don't have to teach each step to each new staff member yourself.

For example, if you were to hire a new staff member, "Suzie," to work at the front counter, you could assign her videos to watch. You can pick and choose these videos. For example, Suzie would probably need to see the videos on finding customers and inventory, creating invoices and taking payments. She would not need to see the videos on areas such as accounts payable or the general ledger, so you would not give her access to these videos. As Suzie watches the videos and learns how to use the software, the system records the dates and times that she watched them, allowing you to ensure that she has watched all the appropriate videos.
